Corona Virus was the most hot topic of 2020 and it still is but nothing stopped Binod from going Viral. He is literally Everywhere! He is on Twitter, Memes, Comments, Blogs, YouTube, Swiggy, Netflix, Tinder and  even Police! The only questions I have these days are : Who is Binod? What's the story behind Viral Binod? And I guess many of us are trying to understand the story behind "5 Letter Word" that made the whole world curious. 

What it is about this name that literally made some official accounts changed their name? 

Who is Binod?

Binod Tharu is nothing but a random guy who used to comment his name 'Binod' on social media platforms like YouTube. He has a YouTube account but with no videos posted. In YouTube he would just watch videos and comment on them with the word "Binod" his first letter itself which actually had no sense. (Scratching my head) We really don't know why he would do that or what he thought about that. Or if he even thought about that!

Why did he got viral?

2 Weeks back YouTuber Gautami and Abhyudaya on their YouTube channel 'Slaypoint' posted a video as 'Why Indian comment section is garbage?'. In this video, they have roasted so many Indians who would comment anything which actually has no sense. In that video there is one guy named Binod Tharu who posted his name on comment section Binod. The next day that video went viral and Binod got famous even in other countries too. Our Meme makers got amazing content and every social media was flooded with the word "Binod".

Why PayTm changed its name to Binod?

Our Viral Binod got its separate fan base. One of the twitter handle user @GabbbarSingh asked PayTm official twitter handle to change their account name to Binod and they did! Now PayTm use Binod name to attract more crowd towards them.

Taking advantage of this strange trend hundreds of YouTube channels created their profile with Binod name to get views. YouTubers got the best content to roast in this lock-down! Its a Win-Win!

Life After Corona Binod! 

Corona is not Corona anymore it is Binod! I love you is I love Binod now Lolz! Babu shona has no importance but only Binod! Nibbis are waiting direly to marry Binod! He's the handsomest now even if we haven't seen him yet! 

If this trend persist for a long time then there's gonna be a new planet named as "Binod". Yogi Ji's gonna name a city as BINOD. Memers have already changed movie "Agent Vinod" to 'Agent Binod'. Anushka Sharma's Sui Dhaga is now finding Binod! Even Corona Vaccine will be called as Binod!

Binod is a name given in Nepal, Bengali which means "Happiness".
